More safety thanks to REACH
REACH, the European chemicals regulation, is intended to ensure a high degree of protection for people and the environment. Within the European Union, this regulation governs the registration, evaluation, approval and restriction of chemical substances. Chemical substances may only be manufactured or brought to market in the EU if they are registered under REACH.
Moreover, REACH includes dedicated provisions for providing information on substances within the supply chain. All of the raw materials used in our fragrances and all essential oils contained in fragrances for personal hygiene, detergent and cleaning products are (pre-) registered in accordance with the REACH regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006. As a result of REACH, FREY&LAU customers are provided with verifiable assurance that only raw materials which have been properly evaluated are used in their product.
