At the festively decorated place of honor, Mr. Decker listened to the words of thanks of the two managing directors, Dr. Maja Zippel and Claas Nendel, and of course to those of his team of many years. He himself brought a whole roll of parchment full of amusing memories to share with the staff. Mr. Decker charmingly staged the transfer of duties to his experienced successor, Mr. Cosimo Figliuzzi, by handing over a relay baton. "This is a new stage of life - you first have to deal with it intensively!" said Mr. Decker during his speech. He said he now wants to focus on his family. He will continue to pursue his passion as a flavorist in his hobby of brewing beer.
