Successful Appearance in Fulda – FREY&LAU at the SEPAWA 2016

| News

With more than 1,500 members, SEPAWA is one of the largest professional associations in Europe. The annual SEPAWA Congress is a key event and highlight for the who’s who in the detergents/cleansers, cosmetics and perfume industries.

This year, around 230 exhibitors and more than 2.600 visitors from over 49 nations gathered from October 12-14 to utilize the opportunity that the communication platform offers. There was a bittersweet note at the end of the 63rd Congress, because the event is moving to a new location in 2017. This means saying a fond farewell to the familiar, homey atmosphere of the small baroque town of Fulda and a new start in a global setting in the center of the Berlin metropolis. The move was spurred by the growing interest in all of the topics that drive the industry and are a focus of the Congress. Of course, FREY&LAU was also present at the final congress held in Fulda. At the company’s booth, which featured a warm, welcoming ambiance and elegant design, congress visitors were presented with special solutions for perfumery in the personal care segment. They also had the chance to smell an assortment of the current trend fragrances for 2017 in a live performance. Selected fragrances were presented on “EVA beads”, which allow the scent to optimally develop and unfold, and thus be smelled and experienced in a truly authentic way. The presentation was very well received by the trade show visitors: "We were very happy about the great interest we saw. After three successful congress days, our experts went back home filled with excellent impressions and promising new contacts,” says Michael Ackermann (Sales Manager D-A-CH), very pleased with the result. As in past years, a clear focus emerged among the visitors: Natural cosmetics are becoming an increasingly higher priority for conventional cosmetics companies. FREY&LAU, with its broad portfolio of essential oils and natural fragrances, is an excellent position here. We are looking forward to exciting new projects – and to the next SEPAWA Congress, with a capital city flair.
