The diversity of fragrances: Our fragrance families. Fresh, spicy or fruity: We offer and develop the right fragrance for each product or field of application. Our fragrances lend harmonious notes to cleaning agents, cosmetics and candles. Since the world of fragrances is highly complex, it is divided into individual fragrance families. The following provides an overview of these fragrance families.
Citrus notes
Fragrance compositions based on citrus fruits are bursting with sparkling freshness and purity. Their primary components are citrus oils or citrus scents, which are generally associated with cleanliness. Whether lemon, bergamot, mandarin or grapefruit: these fresh fragrances are an ideal complement to all household and industrial cleaners and are an essential part of the top note of cosmetic fragrances.
Fruity notes
Fragrances with a clear, aromatic fruity note are particularly well-suited for use in shampoos, fabric softeners, cleaners and candles. Our fruity fragrance products feature the distinctive aromas of juicy apples, cherries, bananas or exotic fruits such as mangos and pineapples, evoking the feeling of summer. They can be wonderfully combined with floral, citrus and musk accents.
Floral notes
Fragrances with floral notes are sensual and tempting. The flower essences can form the heart note as well as the base or top note of a fragrance. They can be divided into the fresh-floral, exotic-floral, aldehyde-floral and sweet-floral fragrance families. Floral notes are often used in soaps and cosmetic products. The fragrance oils are composed as rose, lily of the valley or jasmine scents. Multi-floral bouquets are popular too, which we like to supplement with green, fruity, sweet or fresh components.
Woody notes
Elegant fragrance oils which smell like dried or freshly cut wood, bark or roots. The opulent, earthy, warm notes make you think of sandalwood, cedar, patchouli or the scent of the tropical grass vetiver. Woody notes are a perfect complement to strong top notes such as citrus, green or fruity chords. Woody fragrances are applied in many women's and men's perfumes, as well as in shower gels, cleaners and detergents.
Balsamic-sweet notes
A sweet chord with a warm, sensual character is typical for balsamic-sweet fragranes. Vanillin, ethylvanillin, heliotropin and cumarin are important components of this fragrance family, as is maltol. We like to supplement the resultant compositions with floral, fruity, green or woody accents. These fragrances are best suited for cosmetics and candles.
Oriental notes
We develop fragrances with a sensual-spicy character tailored to fit your ideas and wishes. Along with narcotic white blossoms, components such as cloves, cardamom, pepper and coriander are important ingredients. Patchouli, woody-balsamic nuances, vanilla and animalic notes round out the fond. The top note features fresh, citrus accents. The character of sensual woods and resins as well as the opulence and sweetness of the compositions are reminiscent of the Arabian world. The in-trend note of oud, which is popular to use in home care and personal care, shares this same basis.
Floriental notes
Just as in fashion, there are always new trends in fragrances. The floriental fragrance family has become increasingly popular, particularly in recent years. It unites the lightness of floral scents with the opulence and sensuality of oriental fragrance notes. It is distinguished by its sweet-floral fragrance concept, which is combined with slightly spicy and rich oriental accents.
Herbal-leathery notes
This fragrance family is characterized by a fresh, clear and natural note. We produce herbal-leathery fragrances from herbs, such as lavender, rosemary, mugwort and sage. Herbal-leathery compositions are especially popular in men's cosmetics, as well as in household products, washing powders and fabric softeners. They smell especially aromatic and are important components for the fougère family.
